I am a photographer, writer, and poet based in California. I love for all forms of expression - dancing, music, writing - nature, and making interpersonal connections. It has created “Living in the Moment” and “A Voice for Unspoken Words”. I believe we are all individuals that makes up universal consciousness and each one of us is a part of a global, human society. Our common ground is shown when we collectively engage in discourse. As a collective, there can be real change - a path forward more aligned with the Greater Good.
Living in the Moment is being present. It is people gathering, practicing mindfulness and actively listening. Language’s foundation is built on in-person communication. Let’s create spaces to commune, talk, gabble, prattle, and connect.
When I haven’t found a way to express myself through words or when emotions are so passionate no words can be brought forth to express them, I have turned to other musical artists and poets. A Voice for Unspoken Words is a way for me to write down my thoughts, dreams, desires, regrets, grief, and passions. I hope at least one person finds solace in seeing another individual go through a similar lived, human experience.

My parents sacrificed their careers, family, professions, livelihood, and well-being to uproot themselves from Honduras and begin a new life in America. We landed in Northern California in Rancho Cordova, the All American City. I started school, learned the language, and focused on academics. I will prosper and succeed for my parent’s sacrifices.
My mom said I am the quiet one, a middle child of three sons, three kings, but filled with many emotions underneath the surface. I always felt and knew my mom understood me the most even when I put a calm face, stoic expression, and serene posture, while there was a rushing current of variegated emotions underneath.
I began writing as a child and I treated poetry as an avenue to express myself. Whether it is love, grief, joy or to verbalize a tumultuous time of my life. I love to dance. Whether it is shuffling to a house tune or gloving a light show to a trance classic or groovin’ to rhythms like Jungle and Cannons. I view all of these as forms of expression.
Although a core principle of mine is live in the moment, be present, practice mindfulness, photography and capturing a moment is way to tangibly hold on to a moment in time that exists forever, forever.
